Selected Testimonials from MGYW Scholars from Karachi (August 2014)

Sharifa Khatoon Younus

Sharifa has been an MGYW scholar since 2008 (six years). Currently, she is a BA student at a local college in Karachi and wants to pursue English Literature and Media Studies in future. She is interested in becoming a TV Compere.

Sarah Khokhar

Sarah has been sponsored by MGYW since 2007 (seven years) when she was in Grade 10 (Matric). She has completed her B.S. in International Relations and plans to complete M.S. in Public Policy from the University of Karachi.

Faiza Younus

Faiza has been receiving MGYW grant for the last six years (2007). She is a student of Grade 12 in a Karachi college. She plans to pursue her education in Commerce (Business).

 

Her message: “I am satisfied with MGYW because it has been very helpful to me in (acquiring) my education …MGYW provides good service and a good step toward (promoting) women’s education.”
