Sharifa Khatoon Younus

Sharifa has been an MGYW scholar since 2008 (six years). Currently, she is a BA student at a local college in Karachi and wants to pursue English Literature and Media Studies in future. She is interested in becoming a TV Compere.

 

In her own words: “MGYW rocks! Keep it up. We started receiving funds when we were in (grade) school and now I am at graduate level. I’d like MGYW to please continue supporting programs for higher education…In future, I want to serve humanity and students like me.”

 

Sarah Khokhar

Sarah has been sponsored by MGYW since 2007 (seven years) when she was in Grade 10 (Matric). She has completed her B.S. in International Relations and plans to complete M.S. in Public Policy from the University of Karachi.

 

Her message: “I achieved what I dreamed of. Surely, I want to help this program (MGYW) and want to be a part of it. Since this program has helped me to get education so in my own way I want to help it in future. …I’d like to congratulate MGYW for their achievements and I hope it will continue with its good cause.”

 

Faiza Younus

Faiza has been receiving MGYW grant for the last six years (2007). She is a student of Grade 12 in a Karachi college. She plans to pursue her education in Commerce (Business).

 

Her message: “I am satisfied with MGYW because it has been very helpful to me in (acquiring) my education …MGYW provides good service and a good step toward (promoting) women’s education.”
